Trinity High School

Summer Term 2016

15 April 2016

Dear Parents and  Students,

Welcome back, I hope you all had a restful Easter break.

This term is extremely busy and important.  For Years 11, 12 and 13 external exams are nearly upon us and it is vital that students are revising thoroughly.  This cannot be done just at school and I would be grateful if parents and carers could ensure that students have a quite place to work, and are encouraged to do so each and every day.  Years 9 and 10 will have end of year exams in a few weeks, as well.

But Trinity is not just about exams.  A number of exciting activities and opportunities are taking place this term.  Whether it be the start of the cricket season, Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions, the Trinity Pyramid Music Festival or one of our many other summer activities, I would encourage all students to get involved.  I am also delighted that Mr Bristowe is introducing a weekly ‘Trinity Mile’.   It is vital that students are fit and healthy and this is an excellent opportunity for students to do something different.  Please see notices at the end of this newsletter for more details.

Finally, can I remind parents and carers to check uniform policy.  A few students have returned after Easter in incorrect uniform.  Being part of the Trinity community is something of which to be proud, and all students need to ensure this is reflected by wearing perfect uniform and by conducting themselves in a polite and respectful manner at all times.

Yours sincerely

Mr A Ward
