Trinity High School

Dragons’ Den at Trinity

22 June 2018

This year’s STEM competition is well underway! Working in association with Arconic Group, Trinity’s Year 9 students have used Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths to produce a variety of creative and innovative solar powered products.

Twelve students were selected from this year to present their design ideas to the judges at the Dragons Den last week. It was a tough choice as all students presented with confidence and great knowledge of their products.

A special mention was given to Zeeshan and Stephan, but the three students who go on to represent Trinity in the inter-school Dragons’ Den were: Shannon, with her fantastic Solar Powered Bike aimed at supporting those who may have a disability; Connor and his brilliant rain detecting washing line; and Josh with his marvellous self-heating jacket with USB ports. Our three finalists will present their winning ideas on the 5th of July at Pershore High School, with the chance of winning £250 prize money!

Good Luck and well done to all who took part.
