OPEN EVENING

Thursday 20th September 6.00-8.30pm - In order to prepare for the evening students will be dismissed from school at 1.25pm.  If you wish your child to remain in school, please let their Head of Year know and we will make arrangements to supervise them until 3.05pm.  All FSM students will be able to take their allocation at break time.

TEACHER TRAINING DAY

Friday 21st September – school is closed to all students.

MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT

We're having a Bake Off on Wednesday 26th September.  European themed showstoppers to be brought to the Humanities Office before school.  Cakes will be sold at lunchtime, all proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support.  Please see the attached poster here

Y10 CONKERS REWARD TRIP

This trip has been cancelled due to a lack of interest. Look out for more information to follow regarding a replacement trip.

SCHOOL FUNDING

Letters have gone out this week to all parents regarding school funding – this is now at crisis point.  Please do take time to read this important information and we encourage you to support our campaign for better funding for our schools.

YEAR 10 BARCELONA TRIP 2019

The second payment is due by the end of the September through SchoolComms.  Any issues contact Mrs Cadman.

ABSENCE

Where possible, please try to avoid booking medical appointments during the school day. If this is unavoidable, we ask for parents/Carers to make contact with Mrs Baker, Attendance Officer in advance. 

ATTENDANCE

Please ensure your child attends school every day on time. If for any reason they are going to be absent, please notify the attendance office via 01527 585859 option 1 or the school gateway app www.schoolgateway.com with a reason.
