Trinity High School

Jan 2015 Press Release

13 February 2015

Trinity High School & Sixth Form Centre are, once again, celebrating their fantastic successes at Key Stage 4, with GCSE pass rates remaining the strongest in Redditch, according to the recent government league tables.

68% of students achieved five GCSEs at grade C or higher, including English and maths. This is particularly pleasing as it comes against a national picture of falling results due to tougher standards in terms of examinations and new rules about which qualifications count towards performance tables.

The performance tables rank each individual school against all schools nationally. This shows that Trinity students achieved 15% above the national average for all schools. Furthermore, when viewed against the 55 most similar schools nationally, Trinity is 3rd out of the 55, showing the outstanding progress being made and placing them in the top 5% nationally.

The excellent work that all staff are doing at Trinity to improve the life chances of all students cannot be under-estimated and these outstanding results are testament to the hard work of all concerned. Combined with a rounded education that offers a full range of extra-curricular opportunities, Trinity pride themselves on continuing to provide an outstanding education for all its students.
